Art Class

This is a painting is recently finnished. It is a self portrait. I ended up pretty pleased with it. A lot of the details are left out in the low resolution picture. I liked how i was able to capture the form of my face well with my chunky brush strokes. It also actually looks like me, which in art is called likeness. Ive been tryin to be able to make pictures of a person actually look like a specific person, so this was satisfying for me.
